That is how I would describe the feeling you get when you walk outside. I really realized today, that I moved from 1 extreme to the other. I was in AZ. It would get soooooo hot, that you couldn't leave the house or work for more than a few minutes. Now, it is sooooo cold, same outcome. My body is in shock. I crave carbs. I am fearful of leaving my loft, because the news top stories tell you how to control your "frost bite" and "hypothermia".
HOWEVER, I am a trooper. I have made it thru much worse. I somehow traveled throughout Europe with my brother, who doesn't always have the best sense of direction. However, he always made sure I survived. I made it thru the Grand Canyon when my sister warned me that we were "being stupid". And, yes, she was right...we were. We got lost on one of the hottest days of the year. I even slid down the side of the canyon screaming, and they didn't even hear me.
Now, I am going thru showprep in the coffee shop downstairs from my loft. At least I feel like I am somewhat going out. I have to reintegrate myself into a northern cold society slowly.
Tonight I went with a fat free chai latte. Mmmmm....tasty and warm. I am kind of bummed, because I did have some plans to hang out with the girls. I will go out on Sunday night to some restaurant one of my friends made reservations at downtown. So, at least I have 1 confirmed plan. Honestly, I have been soooo tired, because work has been busy, I have been traveling. I feel like there isn't much time to slow down. And, I still am not adjusted to morning show hours, even though it seems like I have been doing this longer than haven't been doing it in my life. Did that make any sense whatsoever?
Okay, Tye - the chick who works at this coffee shop just called me an "oober nerd" because I am taking pics of myself @ the coffee shop. And, then emailing them so I can put them on this blog. Here is my table:
Yep, there is is...my coffee mug, etc. So, I am a big time nerd, no one really realizes that, though. So, I am still safe.
What else did I want to say...OOOOOOHHHH eerie. The coffee shop has a memorable CD playing in the background. This is sooo weird. I have NEVER heard it played anywhere else. Crazy, sometimes you just can't runaway from the memories, even if you try.
OKAY. I think I only have 15 minutes left in the coffee shop. Tomorrow, I will be brave and buck up and go workout. My car has been making noises I have never heard before. Oh well.
Have an awesome weekend. Mine will consist of going thru my 525 emails! And, reorganizing some work/life things.
Later.

I love that there's a coffee shop downstairs! When are you going to take pics of the snow and cold that you are enduring??? I would love to see Minneapolis in the snow. Remember when I helped Franci move there so long ago? It seemed like a cool city!

I promise I will take pics when it snows. Right now, there is only ICE that exists up here in the Antartic. Today I must work out! I don't care how cold....[SAD].

Good Luck!!! Remember that working out will keep you warm! [HEART] don't forget that you can get workout videos on Netflix which gives you a chance to try them out at home before buying them. Perhaps working out everyother day at home might be good for you and keep you warm.
