I moved. I love where I live. I moved to downtown Minneapolis. I am sure I have mentioned that before. I am trying to put myself out there. Anyway, things have been really good. I have a lot of fun events coming up for work. The happy hour season has started. And, Jane...I have seen your sis a few times. I am going home over the weekend of the 4th of July because my fam will all be there. My bro and sister-in-law will be visiting. I have a convention at the end of June and one at the end of July. I am kind of a convention nerd. Even though this is the 1st year I actually contemplated not going to anything. However, I do want to see my friends. And, I think it is important to stay in the loop regardless what your future plans are. I really love my job. So, I think that is why I was thinking of ditching out of the conventions. Weird, I know there is always something new to learn. But, for once, I don't really care. I just want to do what I want to do. But, they will be fun trips regardless.

I have to thank my co-host Steph for giving me a new outlook on men. I just wasn't getting it. I have been focusing on life in general. So, dating...well, I don't really care about that either :) But, Steph has another plan. So, here's the deal. The one thing I have done in life is focus on my career. So, Steph in her own way, freaked me out(telling me I am running out of time!). She said I need to look at dating like looking for a job. I don't usually just get a call for a job. I don't just expect to run into the perfect job. And, this was a good way to help me visualize what I need to do. It was a nice little Oprah light bulb moment. She used my language to make me understand. So, now is the time for me to just go out and meet people. Grab coffee and don't just take an okay job just because it is there.
But, then again...it all seems like too much work.

I heard that you were hanging with my lil sis. She's home visiting the fam - Linda got one of her heart valves replaced this morning. She's in ICU recovering well.
Maybe you should lay off the fake tan cause you look skinny, girl. You are looking super hot! I sooooo love the darker hair, it frames your face so well. The new place looks good on you too!
Isn't that how it works? When you set out to find something, you usually do? Whoever came up with the notion that you find love when you are not looking for it was "F.O.S", in my opinion. So, now that you are ready, good luck.
FYI- If you like "creative types" I know, or am pretty sure based on the view from your garden, that the architect who designed the building you are loving in also lives there. And if it is the building I am thinking of, and it has the photo gallery still up in the lobby...his picture is down there! Just something you might consider as part of your "business plan"-LOL
