Work, work, work, and vacation?

February 24, 2008 / by mereonair

So, I have a ton of vacation, and I need to go somewhere.  First thought, go see my bro and sister-in-law.  BUT, they might be coming in to see us.  And, I would rather wait till later in the year for that.  Now, Toni said she might be able to do a quick trip away for a girls weekend.  That would be fun, Vegas is her thing.  And, since I really have only been there for a convention...I thought that would be way fun.  I was thinking a cruise might be cool so I could lose a few pounds, then go on the ship and eat and drink until I gain it all back :)  Or, maybe an all inclusive trip somewhere.  I am really more Europe that Cancun.  BUT, I think a nice trip lying on the beach with WATER SPORTS could be a bold move.  Or, I was also thinking a cruise to the Greek Islands or something like that.  I know, I FINALLY have all these choices, time to take a great trip, and absolutely NO ONE who could go with me.  So, if any of you have some vaca time, let me know.  I could use a travel partner.  BUT, I just realized my passport is expiring this year.  Although, I am pretty happy with the number of stamps I have attained, even if I had to beg the dood's in Mexico to please stamp it, because they usually don't.  They thought I was weird.  They weren't too far off :)  And, let's say I do they Vegas, I still have plenty of time for more trip.  So, do you think I will be able to do a Europe trip by myself?  I am thinking it could be fun challenging, as long as I don't get asked to drink the apple tea again(had a little boo-boo in Istanbul).

Hmmm...besides trying to come up with some last second vaca plans, I am just reading my Eckhart Tolle book.  Hey, I had to do it...I couldn't miss out on the Oprah on-line class for free!  Hmmm...and, I am just reorganizing my office.  I am thinking the world is trying to tell me I have to stay on top of being organized.  And, as much as I do have the dysfunctional disorganizational gene...I do constantly work on it.  So, I can look back and see how far I have come.

I am thinking I might just make my website a personal site for now.  It was something I built to look for a gig.  And, in the present time, I am not looking.  And, I am feeling a little exposed.  So, if I get some time, which probably won't happen....I will just make it a fun friend site.  BTW, I am also thinking of doing what my friend Devilwoman did....make an alternate blog where NO ONE KNOWS it is you writing it.  I just write the basics up here.  And, I think I will come up with a blog name...in a differnt site perhaps, and really say EVERYTHING that I want to say.  I have a lot I want to say....

Okay, I am boring y'all.  Time to watch some Oscar stuff.  I have posted some recent pics down below.  And, since a lot of my friends aren't on Facebook...you most likely haven't seen any recent pics.  So, here you go.

This is a pic from the cast of one of my radio shows.  That is Jason(also on Fox 9), me in the middle, and Alexis.  Jason and I both need a man...

This is an art sculpture in one of my favorite hotels/bars in Minny CHAMBERS.  This is a 3D sculpture.  And, the dood looks soooo real, and his eye's follow you as you walk on by.  So scarry.

More of the 3 of us...

You look gorgeous! And I think you could have a lot of fun on a European adventure by yourself. Just remember to be extra careful of jigalos! LOL!
